Jessica was born with cerebral palsy and has spent her life meeting challenges with determination, resilience, and a joyful spirit.
As she's gotten older, walking, balance, and everyday activities have become more difficult. Things that once felt simple now require more planning, energy, and caution.
For Jessica, this match represents more than assistance.
It's about independence, confidence, and continuing to live life fully.
Jessica first discovered Northeast Canine while searching for a service-dog organization that could make this kind of partnership possible.
Then came Clover. Her first nickname was “Medium Rare,” thanks to a few little hairless patches she had as a puppy.
Jessica had the incredible opportunity to watch Clover and her siblings, Rosie’s Lucky Seven, grow from their very first days.
What Clover Means to Jessica
With Clover beside her, Jessica hopes to move through the world with greater stability and confidence.
She wants to stay active in her community, enjoy the places she loves, and continue living independently without being defined by the challenges she faces.

Northeast Canine provides highly trained Great Danes to qualified recipients at no cost to the person receiving the dog.
