Dog Handlers
Begin by shadowing our head trainer, Megan, to learn our training approach. Once approved, you’ll take dogs off-property for public access training, socialization, and confidence-building with new handlers. This role is vital in preparing our dogs for service. Handlers complete brief training reports after each outing to track progress and behavior.

Event & Fundraising

General Support
Help spread the word about Northeast Canine’s mission by assisting with outreach efforts. Responsibilities include distributing flyers, sharing social media content, and engaging with the community to raise awareness. Volunteers may also support administrative tasks and event preparation. This role is crucial in expanding our reach and building community support.
