Before May 16, 2022, Brian was a dedicated, active dad. He played basketball, ran with his wife and dog, traveled with his family, and spent time exploring national parks.

That day, Brian suffered cardiac arrest caused by multiple pulmonary embolisms. Thanks to an incredible team of doctors, his family, and years of rehabilitation, Brian survived.

But he was left with a rare condition called Lance Adams Syndrome, which causes involuntary shaking and twitching whenever he moves.

Walking, climbing stairs, writing, showering, and simply getting around can now require significant effort. Brian rarely leaves home without his wife or teenage son.

He wants some of that independence back.
