Northeast Canine’s inaugural golf outing brought together nearly 60 golfers, generous sponsors, and eager puppies for a fun, heartfelt day of swings, community, and fundraising to further our mission.
Northeast Canine’s 1st Annual Golf Outing teed off on September 21st at The Rock in Newmarket, NH, and what a way to kick things off! Golfers arrived ready for fun, greeted with swag bags stocked with branded golf balls and koozies before heading to their carts. Mulligans were in play, spirits were high, and with nearly 60 golfers joining us on the course, the event exceeded all expectations for our very first year.
As players made their way through nine exciting holes, our Great Danes roamed the greens, bringing smiles (and some distraction!) to everyone they met. Sponsorship signs looked fantastic across the course, proudly showcasing the generous support that helped make the day possible.
After the last putt dropped, we gathered for a celebratory ceremony where prizes were awarded for first and second place, along with the always-competitive “closest to the pin” contest.
No one went hungry thanks to the generosity of Flatbread pizza who was baking on-site with their signature mobile oven. Inside the barn, guests enjoyed signature drinks at the bar, browsed our merch table, and learned more about Northeast Canine’s mission to pair service-trained Great Danes with veterans and first responders. Of course, our puppies stole the show, delighting golfers and event attendees throughout the day.
The excitement carried into our raffle, where winners took home fun prizes and the room buzzed with laughter and deep sense of community around our nonprofit.
At the end of the day, we raised significant funds to support our mission - and, just as importantly, built connections with a community that believes in the healing power of our dogs.
We are beyond grateful to our sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and friends who made this first outing such a success. With your support, Northeast Canine is already looking forward to going even bigger and better next year.
